The taste of life.
How bittersweet and sour.
And down it goes.
The fall tests everyone.
It falls every which way
But it doesn't matter how it falls.
What matters is when it hits the stomach.
Are you going to wait to be discarded like garbage
Or are you going to get up and run for the hills
Every bite offers the same two choices
But instead of falling down
Remember to savor the taste on the tip of your tongue
Savor it for you
Savor it for me
Savor it for our hopes and dreams
But most if all, savor it for those
Who forgot how sweet it tastes.
Your life starts whole
And you'll take many bites in your life
However never allow yourself to get full
Because soon your fruit will no longer be yours.
